Elite lawyers hired by CEZ handle Temelin tender
Behind the scenes - Czech energy firm CEZ has hired elite lawyers Karel Muzikar and Radek Pokorny to provide consulting services in relation to the public tender for the expansion of the Temelin nuclear power station.
The Temelin tender is the Czech Republic's largest-ever public contract.

Lesy CR's Sykora to receive millions in severance pay
Revealed - Svatopluk Sykora, who resigned last week as CEO of state-owned forestry firm Lesy CR after a series of corruption scandals and criminal complaints, will receive 18 months' salary in severance pay, in addition to a special bonus for the firm's economic results.

Czech industrial confidence worst in three years
Business - The latest data show that Czech industrial confidence is the worst in the last three years. It appears that firms are disappointed with the government of Prime Minister Petr Necas.
When the government came into office in July 2010, industrial firms' optimism was at its highest since the pre-crisis year of 2007.
