Story of Czech-Syrian woman imprisoned by Assad regime
Story of 2012 - Sandra Bitarova was born in Syria to a Czech mother and a Syrian father. She agreed to tell Czech Insider about the 43 days she spent in a Syrian prison this year.
She was working in a Damascus travel agency when the ongoing armed insurrection against the autocratic regime of Bashar Assad broke out in March 2011.

Revealed - Silently, the Prague airport's cargo terminal silently got a new owner.
The strategic transport hub is now owned by Skyport Group, a company based in central London. Its top management include two Czech nationals, David Adamek and Pavel Janda.
