Praha - The town hall of Prague 10 is mulling a huge business these days. The town hall representatives are planning to sell their office building worth millions of crowns.

"Yes, it is true. We are currently thinking about selling the building," town hall spokesperson Jan Charvát confirmed the information to Aktuálně.cz.

At present, the office resides in the Vršovická street, not far from the Eden shopping center.

The town hall employees could move to a building which used to be a former school in the V Olšinách street, nearby Strašnická metro station.

However, the school building is to undergo a thorough reconstruction first.

The complex of buildings where the town hall is presently seated were built in the 1970s and apart from the town hall employees and politicians, army and police reside there as well.

Prague 10 town hall is famous for having grandiose plans.

As part of the new urban planning the town hall strives for D metro line not to intersect with A line on the náměsti Míru metro station but at Jiřího z Poděbrad metro station instead.
