Czech billionaire's party confident ahead of snap vote
Interview - "I am sure we will make it to the lower house," said Babis.
So far, the party has at its disposal CZK 60 million (EUR 2.3 million). Approximately half of this sum was donated by the founder, Babis, and another CZK 20 million was provided by Agrofert subsidiaries. Babis claims he will not use the media outlets he owns in his election campaign.
The party has hired the American PSB consulting firm to assist with the campaign... (read more here).
Rath hints at illegal party financing
Behind the scenes - Rath pointed out that police have allegedly not investigated the possible connection to the CSSD's financing. "It is easier to accuse one or two people than to antagonize a political party, which may fill key positions in a few months," said Rath.
This accusation has already been voiced by Rath once, in 2012 during his speech in the lower chamber.

Penta offers for sale Aero Vodochody aircraft company
Business - Most bidders are expected to come from the ranks of Aero's consumers. Experts often mention Brazil's Embraer aerospace holding as a possible buyer.
Embraer signed a contract with Aero in 2011 on the development and production of parts for the KC-390 transport military plane. Embraer plans to manufacture several hundreds of these aircraft by 2015. It would make sense for the Brazilian company to buy Aero, its main partner in the KC-390 project... (read more here).
