Prague - The state-of-the-art Eden stadium in Prague might be out of light for a UEFA Cup game between Slavia Praha and Aston Villa scheduled for this Thursday.

Power supplier Moravia Energo has said in a press release it is ready to send the brand new stadium into darkness if the investor, E Side Property, fails to pay outstanding bills worth almost CZK 2.5 million.

Moravia Energo says it has repeatedly urged the investor to pay the debt and has even postponed the invoices' due dates to give the client more time.

"E Side Property Ltd was last notified on 24 October 2008 to pay CZK 1,887,973.78 by 31 October 2008. On Monday 3 November this sum had not been paid. Meanwhile, yet another invoice had passed its due date, increasing the outstanding debt to CZK 2,475,225.48," the company said, adding it was ready to discontinue supplies.
