Praha - Mayor of Prague Pavel Bém (Civic Democrats) has left for Nepal again.
According to Prague City Hall´s spokesperson Jiří Wolf Bém will spend a week in Nepal.
"Mr. Bém has gone to Nepal for a week of holidays," explained Wolf.
"Deputy Mayor Rudolf Blažek is to replace Mr. Bém during his absence," he added.
Jiří Wolf said to the server ceskenoviny.cz that Pavel Bém was visiting Nepal because of a charity project.
But he did not confirm the information to Aktuálně.cz.
"Mr. Bém is there on holidays. In case he is there to do charity, it is his own private business," he said to Aktuálně.cz.
Last year Pavel Bém took two months of unpaid holiday to climb the world´s highest mountain Mount Everest in the Himalayas.
He earned criticism for that not only from public but from politicians as well.
