Czech healthcare industry's biggest secret
Revealed - Czech Insider has obtained a document that reveals the way how VZP, the Czech Republic's largest health insurance company, provides finance to Czech hospitals.
The internal document was prepared at the request of VZP director general Pavel Horak.

Revealed - The arrest of Deputy Labor Minister Vladimir Siska on corruption charges forced Labor Minister Jaromir Drabek (TOP 09) to resign.

Czech sport to lose CZK 800 million
Revealed - Czech sport may lose CZK 800 million promised by the Finance Ministry.
"The finance minister promised in summer to include the sum in the medium-term plan of the state budget for next year. But it is not there," said Czech Olympic Committee deputy chairman Jiri Kejval.
The sum was meant to offset the drop in Czech sport's revenues caused by a change of the gambling law... (read more here).
