Swiss prosecutors link MUS case to privatization of Skoda Holding

IMF: Czech recession may further deepen

Analysis - "With recent disappointing export performance, the economy is at the risk of being dragged deeper into recession. Also, the current poor growth performance, if protracted, runs the risk of translating itself into a long-term decline in potential growth due to lower investment," said an International Monetary Fund (IMF) working group led by Masanori Yoshida in its four-page report on the Czech Republic... PM visits Moscow with massive business delegation

Behind the scenes - Czech Prime Minister Petr Necas arrived in Moscow on Sunday 26 May for a state visit, accompanied by a delegation of almost 80 Czech businessmen which arrived in a second plane.

The business delegation includes representatives from the Czech Republic's industrial and energy companies, banks, and the largest Czech-Slovak law firm. No official of CEZ, the Temelin nuclear plant operator, takes part in the delegation... (read more here).
