Prague - The majority of Czechs would like to see the Green Party´s current vice chairwoman and former Education Minister Dana Kuchtová at the helm.
On the other hand, those who voted the Green Party two years ago prefer current chairman and Environment Minister Martin Bursík.
Such are the results of a poll conducted by the Median agency for the public service Czech Television. Nearly 1,100 people participated in the poll.
The information first appeared in a Sunday talkshow Otázky Václava Moravce (Questions of Václav Moravec).
The Green Party's congress is afoot next week in Teplice, north Bohemia, during which it will be decided who will lead the party.

Among the voters of the Green Party, 50 percent support Bursík, 40 percent Kuchtová.
The rest of respondents were undecided.
The poll also showed that 28 percent of Czechs do not like the party's current leadership. Thirty percent believe that the party's biggest mistake was not fighting corruption well enough.
Havel: Less fanaticism, more laugh
Former Czech president Václav Havel, who was one of the guests in the Sunday's talkshow, commented on the issue.
Havel suggested Green Party representatives should act less fanatically and "laugh about it from time to time." Havel believes these types of party disputes are common among Green Parties in other European countries.
Havel is widely believed to be a supporter of the party which he allegedly voted for two years ago.
