Prague - Ten people that were arrested in a Tuesday massive police crackdown and are suspected of neo-Nazi propaganda are not key figures in the far right movement.
"I would say they are a sort of "middle management" type," expert on extremism Jan Charvát told Aktuálně.cz.
"They are definitely far from being "top managers" and basically they are not responsible for staging violent activities," he added.
Nevertheless, the arrested organized racist concerts and are member of neo-Nazi bands.
Police have been evasive on providing more information either about the perpetrators or the crackdown as such.
In the crackdown police also raided a number of places nationwide, including a Prague shop that sells neo-Nazi related items.
"It is solely a matter of the Organized Crime Unit and police have no background information about their investigation," police president Oldřich Martinů said in a Czech TV news bulletin Tuesday night.
