Brno - The Štýřice district in Brno, where a small Manhattan with hundreds of offices in tower buildings is going up, is awaiting another big investment.
The company RLRE Carina Property, 90% of which is owned by Austria's Raiffeisen Leasing, wants to build a large administrative-business centre in the neighbourhood, covering an area of 31,000 square metres.
The dominant feature of the business park, where thousands of people are expected to work, will be two 18-storey buildings, which will be among the tallest in town.
The place for skyscrapers
Only a few hundred metres away, Property AZ Tower is planning to start building 90-metre high office towers, each 26 storeys tall, next year.

CTP Invest is also finishing its office park in this area. For now, it has put on hold the construction of its tallest, 20-storey, building, but the work should kick off next year.
RLRE Carina Property plans to start construction of its new business centre H-Park in 2009. "The expected completion date is 2011," said the company in its announcement.
The town hall has designated the area in the neighbourhood of Heršpická street as a place where developers are welcome to build high-rises.
