French swimmer Philippe Croizon, four-member amputee (R) is helped to enter the water by his friend, swimmer Arnaud Chassery, on August 11, 2012 on a beach in Wales, Alaska. Croizon will attempt to cross the Bering Strait between Diomede Little Island and Great Diomede island, the last step of his challenge aiming to join symbolically the five continents through passes and straits.
