Top 10 Russian businessmen in Czech Republic
Business - Czech Insider has produced a list of ten most important Russian businessmen in the Czech Republic, ranked by the revenue of their companies. Companies that do not publish their revenues are not included in the list.
1. Dmitry Shchuka, 48, board chairman of Evraz Vitkovice Steel
Revenue: approximately CZK 19 billion (750 million euro)

Government approves appointment of new ambassadors
Revealed - The government approved the appointment of more than ten new ambassadors last week. Czech Insider has learned their names: many of them are senior officials from the Foreign Ministry, close to Minister Karel Schwarzenberg.
The current deputy foreign minister, Vladimir Galuska, will head the Czech mission to the United Nations (UN) and Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Vienna... (read more here).
Turkey's PM Recep Erdogan visits Prague
Foreign - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Erdogan visited the Czech Republic last week, for the first time in the past five years.
Turkey is a booming economy, whose income per person has more than doubled over the past ten years, while the economy was growing by approximately 10 percent a year, before the growth decelerated to a more moderate, but still enviable rate of four percent in 2012... (read more here).
