Princess Anne, the only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II, and ninth in the line of succession to the British Throne, came to the Czech Republic for a three-day working visit.

Well known for her keen interest in horse races, she was there to congratulate the winner of this year's Velká Pardubická Steeplechase.

She also visited The Sue Ryder Home in Prague, a charity nursing home for senior citizens in need of a constant care. It is part of a global network of similar institutions with headquarters in England.
