Islamophobia on rise in Czech Republic

Behind the scenes - "The number of hate-emails we receive is increasing. My email and Facebook account have been hacked, I am preparing a criminal complaint. A female Muslim with her hair covered was attacked in Brno," said Center of Muslim Communities Chairman Munib Alrawi.

Czech "bin Laden hunters" to stay under Military Intelligence command

Behind the scenes - The Czech military's elite special forces, nicknamed "bin Laden hunters", will stay under the authority of the Czech Military Intelligence agency, which is under the jurisdiction of the Defense Ministry. Business - Czech scrap metal entrepreneur Zdenek Trojek is interested in acquiring Evraz Vitkovice Steel, well-informed sources from the Ostrava business community told Czech Insider.
